Privacy Policy

This English policy is the governing version. Toolsy provides several video tools with different data needs. The TikTok downloader can be used without a Toolsy account. Video Object Remover requires an account, credits, and temporary private media processing.

Accounts and authentication

Supabase provides our account database, authentication, and private storage. You may sign in with Google or a passwordless email link. We store your account identifier, email address, credit balance, immutable credit history, purchase records, and recent processing-job metadata. We do not receive your Google password.

Uploaded video and AI processing

When you use Video Object Remover, your source video and mask are uploaded to private Supabase Storage. The files and derived inputs are sent to Replicate so the selected area can be processed by an AI model. Do not upload confidential material or video you do not own or have permission to process.

Toolsy-controlled source videos, masks, and derived working copies are deleted after a job completes or fails. Replicate states that API prediction inputs, outputs, files, and logs are automatically removed after about one hour under its retention policy. A completed output in Toolsy storage is retained for up to 24 hours so you can download it. Job metadata may be retained for up to 30 days for account history, support, abuse prevention, and reliability. Short-lived signed links protect private downloads.

Payments

Stripe hosts checkout for one-time credit purchases and processes payment details. Toolsy receives payment status, purchase identifiers, and limited billing information needed to grant or reverse credits; we do not store full card numbers.

TikTok downloads and local history

The TikTok downloader processes a public link to provide download options and may cache a fetched file for up to 24 hours. Its recent download history stays in your browser's local storage and is not attached to your Toolsy account.

Logs, analytics, advertising, and security

We keep short-lived security and operational logs, which may include IP address, device information, request timing, and safe error codes. We use them for rate limits, fraud prevention, debugging, and service metrics. Video Object Remover is ad-free. Other pages may display ads and use analytics or cookies as disclosed by their consent controls.

Account deletion

You can request account deletion from the account menu. We delete the profile and stored media that are not subject to a legal, fraud, chargeback, or accounting retention obligation. Some purchase and credit-ledger records may be retained where required.
